Our companies serve as drivers of economic growth and job creation.

Founded in 1943 by David Packard and 17 of HP’s contractors, TechAmerica is the industry’s largest national advocacy organization and is dedicated to helping members’ top and bottom lines.  We promote and protect the industry’s interests through grassroots-to-global policy advocacy, while helping our members grow through providing access across the country — and around the world — to commercial and government executives, peers, financial analysts, and investors.

The association’s headquarters is located in our nation’s capital and we have a total network of 20 offices across the country and two overseas. Through affiliations with the Technology Councils of North America (TECNA) and the World Information Technology and Services Alliance (WITSA), we offer the industry’s only grassroots to global network, serving the needs of our members wherever they do business.
