An official Egyptian delegation participated in the eChallenges e-2007 Conference and Exhibition due on 24-26 October, 2007 in the Hague city of the Netherlands.
The Egyptian participation in the international event comes about within Egypt's strategy to set Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as a top priority for the State development. The Egyptian presence constitutes an extended Egyptian pavilion over three stands in the event's exhibition.
The delegation comprises senior officials from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, namely Centers of Excellence for Data Mining and Computer Modeling, the eLearning Competence Center (eLCC) and the International Relations Division in addition to the CEO of EngNet Egypt.
eChallenges e-2007 Conference and Exhibition is the 17th in a series of annual technology research conferences supported by the European Commission, which regularly attracts over 600 delegates from leading commercial, government and research organizations around the world to share knowledge and experience, lessons learnt and good practice in areas of applied ICT.
The Core thematic areas of the conference include ICT for networked enterprise, e-government and e-democracy, collaborative working environments, e-health, knowledge and content technologies, security and identity management and technology enhanced learning and ICT skills.
