GDCO SUDAN SHARING EXPERIENCE OF ICT FOR DISABLED

It is one of the objectives of gedaref digital city organization (GDCO) in Gedaref Sudan and a lot of work has been done by GDCO in this issue. A conference will be held by the dolphin company in UAE at Aljazeera club (Abu Dhabi ).

The dolphin company had got experience in disabled conference and exhibit .

GDCO is planing to attend the annual ADDEX 2008 23rd -- 25th march 2008 in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and present a paper in the role of Telecentres in development of disabled through ICT. T

he paper will include the experience of GDCO Telecentres with disabled and going to present the impact of these Telecentre for the disabled and how GDCO included or integrated them in the community.

Two deaf and one physical disabled will attend the exhibit to share what they studied and practiced in ICT and they will show how they find another way of communication for the deaf instead of the sign language (face to face communication) and now they communicate globally through email and written chatting.

Also they are going to share experience with the disabled delegates in the conference and exhibit and see the latest technology developed for the disabled.
