CRATT 2009: Tunisia to host applied research and technology transfer conference

In a global world it is becoming increasingly urgent to join the efforts of researchers, academics and entrepreneurs. The organisation of a conference on applied research and technological transfer in Tunisia aims at showcasing recent research projects oriented towards industrial applications.

CRATT 2009, which will take place on November 11 and 12, 2009, will feature the 3 rd colloquium on applied research and technological transfer as well as the CRATT 2009 Junior which aims at enabling the exchange of experience between business entrepreneurs, technology teachers and students.

The event which is set under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education Scientific Research and Technology, will take place at the Rades Higher Institute of Technological Studies (ISET), near Tunis.

A number of prizes will be awarded by a jury composed of both entrepreneurs and academics to the best projects. The event will also include plenary conferences, thematic presentations and exhibition events. Recruitment opportunities for young university graduates will also be offered to the holders of innovative and original projects.
