2010 Expotech Technology

It is with great pleasure to once again announce the 2010 Expotech Technology Week that will take place in the cities of Ramallah and Gaza from November 1st to the 6th of this year.
This year's Expotech Technology week will mark the seventh year the Palestinian Information Technology Association of companies (PITA) has developed a renowned business event based on the core values of delivering and updating the latest business trends, products, technologies, and services in the ICT sector.

The Expotech Technology Week will build on the success of the previous year with a professional theme and focus on entrepreneurs, businessmen, national and international investors associating with the ICT sector. This new theme is the result of significant strategic choices made by the organizers; choices that will place this event in a strong position to continue expanding profitably, and strengthening and enhancing the economical and technological status of Palestine while attracting the best dynamic global economic figures.

PITA is proud that the 2010 will crown the success for Palestinian companies that have made business contracts with Cisco. It also witnessed other multinationals interest in our markets and our services. Furthermore, the 2010 event will bring a new beginning of cooperation with our peer organizations in Amman, Jordan where more than 70 delegates have registered to attend the Expotech Technology Week conference.

This year, the Expotech Technology Week will feature:
1. Palestine IT Conference (November 2nd & 3rd): This conference will be the highlight of the Expotech Technology Week and will serve as the main ceremony featuring key speakers from Palestine and abroad.
2. Multinationals Days (November 2nd - 4th): ICT multinational companies such as CISCO and Microsoft will get a chance to engage in a series of seminars, lectures and panels to discuss latest technologies and partnerships models.
3. ESRI Technology Days (November 2nd - 4th): Three-day workshop to build organizational capacity in GIS and ICT amongst local Palestinian stakeholders in Palestine.
4. Expotech Exhibition - Gaza (November 4th - 6th): Companies will showcase their latest products and services through booths and presentations.
5. Technology Entrepreneur Forum (November 4th - 6th): In this Forum, Innovators and early startups will present their prototypes and business ideas.
