The event will consist of numerous events happening concurrently under the same roof, including the Persian IGF and PERSIANICT conference under the theme: Internet Access towards Economic Growth; with focus on youth and empowerment. In addition to other side events such as the INET , RIPE workshop, a series of ICT workshops, ICT Expo and regional meetings as well as the Innovative Challenge Grants competition, and recognizing the Persian and World ICT personalities of the year as being the leading figures driving ICT change around the region.

The PERSIANICT Week will be hosting the PERSIANICT conference and the launching of the first Persian IGF which will focus on the future of internet governance and internet access towards economic growth as well as the role of youth and social media, Civil Society, Academics, regional governments and private sector representatives will join forces with leading ICT stakeholders from around the world to highlight the key developments and opportunities in the ICT sector around the region.

The 2014 PERSIANICT Week and Persian IGF will take place on August 30 and 31st in Tehran at the IJLAS Center, Tehran, in partnership with the Iranian ICT Guild Organization IIG, and IJMA3 – ICT for Development under the theme entitled “Internet Access towards Economic Growth”..
