Equal Career Opportunities

The “Women Alliance for Virtual Exchange” WAVE launched its first campaign for the year 2013 entitled “Equal Career Opportunities” in conjunction with “International Women’s Day” on the 8th of March 2013.

This campaign aims at raising awareness in societies and urging concerned parties, in the countries that WAVE’s work covers, to promote equal career opportunities between men and women.
Member organizations in the alliance are organizing advocacy campaigns on the national and regional levels to increase awareness on the importance of promoting equal career opportunities as a prelude to equality between men and women particularly since women have proven their worth in the work field.
