Dear EITESAL Member, 
 
Following the successful first run, of the 6-Sigma subsidized training, we have been receiving extensive demand from our members to have a second run of this important topic.
 
Therefore, glad to advise that, yes, we have scheduled a second run with the same instructor.  Details are mentioned below.

6 Sigma Deployment

Six Sigma is a methodology to manage process variations that cause defects, defined as unacceptable deviation from the mean or target; and to systematically work towards managing variation to eliminate those defects.  The objective of Six Sigma is to deliver world-class performance, reliability, and value to the end customer.

It is a 4-day training, which will begin on  Monday, March 12 to Thrusday, March 15, 2007.

Top & middle managers who are involved in system control developments.

Why attend

Goal of near perfection in meeting customer requirements. Six Sigma itself refers to performance target of operating with only 3.4 DPMO (defects per million opportunity – 99.9997%). Six Sigma is a culture change effort to position a company for greater customer satisfaction, profitability, and competitiveness.

Date & Timing

The 4 days course takes place  March 12 to 15, 2007 , from  9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.   There will be 2 coffee breaks and a light lunch. 

Certificate 

 Will come from the International Finance Corporation  ( IFC ) , which is an affiliate corporation to the World Bank.

Fees

 LE 850 per participant

 

The Instructor

Is a  Certified Six Sigma Black belt (CSSBB), Quality Auditor (CQA) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), U.S.A.

He has a B.Sc in Engineering. He is a consultant & trainer in Operation Management, Quality Management & Quality Engineering tools since 1994.

He is working in the field of Quality & Project Management since 1982, as a QC Manager for the Cairo Regional metro (subway) – Phase I, QC/QA Manager for New Kasr El-Aini Teaching Hospital Project (Cairo University), Planner/Scheduler for New Office Building and Embassy Residence - U. S. Embassy in Cairo and a Factory Manager for a food processing factory.
