For the HASIL project, IJMA3 conducted a formal assessment of the ICT sector in Kabul, Kandahar, and LashKar Gah, Afghanistan. The purpose of the assessment was to understand the opportunities and threats related to the ICT sector in Afghanistan, and to prioritize training needs for ICT in agriculture.  The project is the first phase of a multi-phase project intending to harness ICT toward the growth and development of the agriculture sector in these provinces.  Next phase activities are currently being planned based on the conclusions of the report.  The project is being implemented in partnership with Mercy Corps.
