The e-North Initiative leverages a broad coalition of supporting stakeholders in establishing universal broadband access in Lebanon’s northern region. The concept is based upon a vision of the new Lebanese economy powered by enabling, world-class ICT infrastructure. A broad-based coalition of supporting stakeholders has been assembled to drive this initiative forward, drawn from the public and private sectors, and private sector groups, the Lebanese IT industry association PCA, and other key private sector players; civil society, including municipalities, consumer protection groups, NGOs, and others; and a range of development practitioners. |
