South Central Iraq ICT Workforce Survey

In coordination with Mercy Corps, a workforce survey was undertaken in south Iraq to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the Iraqi ICT workforce, and provide a means for prioritizing interventions.

In coordination with Mercy Corps, a workforce survey was undertaken in south Iraq to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the Iraqi ICT workforce, and provide a means for prioritizing interventions.  The survey was not be limited to companies working in the ICT industry per se, but included a wide range of companies, profiling the Iraqi ICT workforce in general, in addition to government institutions and NGOs. The results allowed the skills available in-country to be identified, and the gaps to be better understood, and relevant training tracks to be designed.
