The Creative Cluster project introduces sector priorities, those areas of the creative economy targeted through the cluster initiative (i.e. the growth generators, value-adders and technology adopters).  The project identified three cluster themes and recommended actions based on findings.  It identified a set of challenges facing Lebanon’s ability to operate as a competitive and sustainable creative cluster.  The findings showed that with a strong and energetic creative cluster program, Lebanon was intended to become a Middle Eastern hub to set up and develop creative business ideas.  The project was driven by:
An innovative ecosystem:  a place where talent, multiple value chains, research activity and a strong design emphasis merged with access to appropriate knowledge and funding streams.
Extreme collaboration: connecting different types of businesses and brokering relationships across sectors between businesses and other institutions.
Business culture: Lebanon stands out for its understanding of creative business lifecycles, flexibility and proactive knowledge-brokering.
Access: the brand and identity of the clusters provides access to privileged knowledge, networks, partnerships and investment, as well as a rich mix of innovative content providers to fuel the growth of the commissioner and distributor businesses.
