In association with Mercy Corps, IJMA3 is helping administer the two-year program, Governance Promotion through Conflict Management in Iraq. The goal of the program is to strengthen the capacity of Iraqi leaders at the provincial and local levels to facilitate effective and pluralistic governance through the successful management of competing interests.  Under this project, IJMA3 is responsible for creating a network of Iraqi conflict management and negotiation practitioners to support one another’s work in governing their communities and embed conflict management practices further into Iraqi society.
