In coordination with Mercy Corps, IJMA3 provided demand-driven training Computer-Based Training (CBT) modules to 750 disadvantaged youth in Sadr City. Two training tracks were provided: 1) Conceptual Thinking and Communication, and 2) Microsoft Digital Literacy and Job Preparation. ICT skills play an important role in enabling youth to overcome the effects of conflict, and resume normal, hopeful, lives. The skills developed in ICT-based training can enable youth to achieve their personal, educational, and professional objectives, resume a life of normalcy, and look forward with hope to a normal, viable, future. |
