Nawras inks pact with Tawasul

Nawras has signed a contract to partner with Tawasul Electronic Network Solutions in a move that is expected to expand further the widespread availability of Nawras products all over the Sultanate.

This new affiliation means that customers now have a greater choice with more widespread locations to purchase their Nawras id SIM-cards and recharge cards thus making it possible to stay in touch more often.

Details of this agreement were formalised during a recent signing ceremony at which Nawras expressed its satisfaction in welcoming Tawasul as a premium distributor of Nawras products.

Customers in the region are now provided with 1,200 points of sale of prepaid Nawras SIM-cards and over 15,000 places to buy their Nawras recharge cards.

Ross Cormack, chief executive officer signed the agreement for Nawras, accompanied by chief operating officer, Khalid Al Mahmoud, chief commercial officer, Tore Solberg, Nawras sales director, Mohamed Abdulatif and Abdul Aziz Al Hinai, department head of indirect sales. On behalf of Tawasul, chairman Syied Hammed bin Thuwainy A. Al Said added his signature to the document in the presence of Nasser Mohammed Noor, Tawasul CEO, Eng. Feras Al Zuraiqi, CTO and board director and Sheikh Ali Al Harthi.

Cormack said, “We warmly congratulate Tawasul Electronic Network Solutions on this well-deserved upgrade, becoming one of our valued premium distributors.

“Nawras has always encouraged local companies to participate and share in the success of the fastest growing family in Oman by making it even easier and more convenient than ever for our customers across the Sultanate to obtain Nawras products and services closer to their own doorsteps.”

Responding on behalf of Tawasul, Hamed bin Thuwainy Al Said stated, “We are very happy to have formed this partnership with Nawras. We feel strongly that this will allow Tawasul to spread its innovative electronic recharge solution with the result that customers in Oman will benefit greatly from this service all the way from Muscat to Salalah.”

Tawasul’s CEO Nasser Mohammed Noor commented, “Our strategic partnership with Nawras will enhance and add value to the recharge options available in Oman and customers will notice an immediate improvement in the quality and efficiency of our new electronic recharge solution.

“We have Nawras customers’ best interest at heart and will make our solution widely available in strategic locations for their convenience.”
