SADR CITY PROJECT
August 16th proved to be a memorable date for IJMA3’s Sadr City Youth Capacity Building Project – Baghdad, announcing the end of its training sessions. We are thrilled and proud to announce that 673 students have completed their “Microsoft Digital Literacy” course and finally graduated, receiving their certificates of achievement. The immense success of the project emphasized the dedication and commitment of the trainers, as well as the hard work driven by the students. This realization has led IJMA3 in coordination with Mercy Corps (the project donors) to amend the project to include 69 additional beneficiaries, thus increasing the trainees’ number from 650 to 719 as well as increasing the project’s duration by one month ending in September 2010.
