Boosting Cooperation with JCI in ICT
H.E. M. Mohamed Naceur Ammar, Minister of Communication Technologies received on Monday in Tunis M. Roland Kwemai, the World Chairman of Junior Chamber International (JCI).
The meeting, which was attended by a delegation of the National Junior Chamber, looked at ways to boost cooperation with JCI and its participation in the "ICT4All Forum Tunis+5”, to be held this year under the keynote: “ICT & Youth: Source of Innovation, Inspiration and Entrepreneurship”.
The minister highlighted, on this occasion, the fact that this international manifestation concurs with the United nations declaration of 2010 as International Year of Youth as response to the initiative of H.E. President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
Mr. Ammar placed emphasis on the need to encourage youths to embrace the knowledge economy through investment in promising sectors.
He called upon the JCI delegation to make of "ICT4All Forum Tunis+5" an opportunity to make better known the opportunities offered by ICT to youth in matters of employment and investment.
JCI World Chairman expressed, in return, the organization willingness to contribute to works of the international information and communication technologies forum at various levels
