Qatar - Press Release

Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani is very pleased to announce the launch of "Educate Qatar," a state of the art education centre, based in Doha. The centre has been established to enhance the overall standard of educational facilities throughout Qatar.

Educate Qatar is a new subsidiary of Allied International Holding specialising in education and training. The organisation has a portfolio of educational products and programmes licensed from many of the world's leading academic and corporate services and solutions brands to support the existing education system in place in Qatar.

Educate Qatar, provides after school in-centre and online tutoring programmes for Qatari grade school, middle school, and high school students licensing Carnegie Learning and Cognitive Tutor software for its learning programmes. In addition European Pedagogical Information Communication Technology (EPICT) certification, English language training services such as BridgeTEFL, which develops and delivers EFL (English as a Foreign Language), and Atomic Learning offering EPICT licenses in pedagogical ICT are also on offer.

Educate Qatar's partnership with these world renowned American and British educational service providers is expected to have a significant positive impact on the Qatari education system.

On Saturday 9 October a signing ceremony took place at the Educate Qatar centre attended by senior executives from each of the licensing companies.

Sheikh Faisal commented: "The future growth of Qatar relies heavily on investment in education. Already our wise Government has succeeded in creating a renowned educational hub in Qatar attracting the investment of some of the world's leading educational facilities who have established a presence in Qatar. I firmly believe that Educate Qatar will complement this investment and help underpin the development of the education system in Qatar offering students, teachers and executives the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to achieve great success in future."
