ICT to be widely introduced in national schools in 2011

The year 2011 will be that of National Education digitization, the National Center for the Integration of educational innovation and information and communication technologies development in Education (CNIIPDTICE) announced Monday. "The use of information and communication technology (ICT) in Education is irreversible and the year 2011 will be that of digitization," said the deputy director of CNIIPDTICE, Larbi Bouamrane in a statement to APS, on the sidelines of a workshop on ICT use in education. He explained that all departments and 17 centers affiliated to the Ministry of Education are already equipped with electronic mail and exchange information through this tool of modern technology with a broadband connection.
