int@j in cooperation with JEA conducted a trade mission to Oman
The Information and Communication Technology Association of Jordan-int@j in collaboration with Jordan Exporters Association-JEA and funded by USAID Jordan Economic Development Program, conducted the first trade mission to Oman from January 9th - 12th, 2011.
The trade mission provided participating companies with a comprehensive understanding of the Omani market and the current issues and opportunities in the ICT sector in Oman, and provided participants with an opportunity to meet with Omani business leaders and government representatives, connect with prospective customers and, engage in quality meetings/seminars with Omani companies.
As part of the program, the Jordanian delegates visited the Omani Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Manpower, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, the Omani Center for Investment and Promotion and Export Development, Information Technology Authority, Middle East College for Information Technology, and Knowledge Oasis of Muscat.
The Jordanian delegates conducted seminars to potential Omani companies to present their products and services, seeking good opportunities in the Omani market.
The Jordanian companies who participated in this trade mission are Pact, PALCO, MenaITech, SSSProcess, Cubic Art Technologies and Integrated Standard Solutions (ISS), United Technology Solutions, Pioneers Information Technologies, Access 2 Arabia, Mid Information Technology (Mid IT) and Shnoudi Trading Co.
