The Arab ICT Organization (IJMA3) has finished the delivery of six basic level IT Training courses to the staff of Local Councils in Basrah Province, southern Iraq. This activity comes as a part of the project (ICT Enabling for Basrah Discricts and Sub-districts Councils), that is implemented by IJMA3 and funded by USAID in cooperation with Mercy Corps.
The six courses that were delivered included training to the staff of 12 different local councils in Basrah province, and the purpose behind this activity is to assure the sustainablility of the Basrah Councils Web Protal which is a project that was previously implemented by IJMA3.
Other activites including capacity building and advanced training courses from the same project are expected to be delivered right after the end of Ramadan.
