SANA'A, March 05 (Saba) –Yemen to participate in the Middle-East and North-Africa Information and Communication Technology Forum (MENA ICT Forum) to be held on the 6th and 7th of March 2013 in the Dead Sea.

Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr declared, upon heading Tuesday to the Jordanian capital, Amman, the forum would discuss a number of axes related to development and digital industries opportunities.

The forum will also discuss the most prominent trends of the telecommunications industry and information technology and their integration in the various economic sectors, he added.

Estimates show that the number of Internet users in the Arab region recently exceeded the 100 million users.
