The purpose of the first round of PersianIGF open consultations and Persian Multistakeholder Advisory Group Meeting was to introduce the newly convened Persian MAG members and to discuss the objectives, structure of the PersianIGF.

The Open consultation was  followed in the afternoon by the first Persian MAG closed meeting that will discuss various emerging issues in the Persian speaking region.

The Persian MAG members will provide advice on the structure of PersianIGF, its roles, responsibilities and the process of PersianIGF for enabling all the stakeholder groups to exchange knowledge and address issues.
