Yemen to attend world congress on information technology
SANA'A, Oct. 04 (Saba) – Yemen is set to take part in the world congress on information technology that would be held in Geneva on 5-9 October.
Heading for the event, minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology Kamal Hussein al-Jabri said on Sunday the participation will provide Yemen with the opportunity to familiarize with the latest developments in communication and information technology area as well as reviewing the decisions of the world summit on information society for the first and second phases.
The meeting will bring together pioneer industrialized countries and decision makers from around the world to hold discussions and find the best ways to bring about development in the industry of communication and information technology.
On the margins of the conference, an exhibition on the latest innovations would be organized, al-Jabri said.
The Yemeni delegation will meet in Switzerland a number of Arab participating delegations to discuss mutual cooperation with each country of them.
