The winners of the M-Government Service Awards will be announced at a private ceremony that will take place on Feb. 10-12 under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and the monarch of Dubai.

The LAF Shield lets citizens report suspicious activities and objects by sending pictures or videos along with a description.

Users will also be able to store information on wanted, kidnapped and missing individuals.

The LAF Shield is the only candidate from Lebanon that has made it to the final round of 31 applications, among 260 received from around the world.
