Gabriel Deek, Senior Consultant - Lebanon

Mr. Deek graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the `Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Beyrouth’ (ESIB) at the St-Joseph University (USJ).  He currently serves as General Manager – OmniSystems, located in Beirut, Lebanon, in addition to the President of the Professional Computer Association of Lebanon (PCA).  As the General Manager of OmniSystems, he leads a leading regional supplier of specialized in IT solutions and infrastructure as well as Digital Media Solutions.  For the PCA, he administers a powerful industry advocacy body which serves as the national voice of the national IT industry.  He maintains strong connections with academia, and currently serves as the coordinator of the IT section at the Institut de Gestion des Entreprises (IGE) of USJ, delivering courses including Negotiations and Conflict Solving, Sales Methodology for the ICT Market, and Vertical Applications.  In June 2003, he was appointed as National Expert in the World Summit Award part of the UN World Summit on Information Society.
