MAP-IT! Awareness Workshop

The MAP IT! Workshop on the FP7 Programme in the field of the Information and Communication Technologies was held in Algiers, Algeria, on July 07, 2007.

It was organised by the “Université des Sciences et de la Technologie Houari Boumediene” (USTHB) and EUROQUALITY, MAP-IT! partner.

The workshop was introduced by Mrs. Rachida Touami of USTHB. Mr Marc Ponsar, Euroquality, presented the MAP IT! Project. Ms Marie Fauchadour, Euroquality, introduced the FP7 Programme and described its funding schemes, participation rules and evaluation criteria. Finally Mr Marc Ponsar presented the 2nd FP7 call for proposals in the field of ICT (FP7- ICT -2007-2).

During the last session of the workshop, the attendees raised questions and participated in one-to-one meetings with one expert of European projects of the company Euroquality.

The MAP-IT! questionnaire was also distributed at the beginning of the workshop and several attendees returned the survey by the end of the day.
